At the Pre-Construction Meeting you will meet the Homebuilding Supervisor who will be responsible for the construction of your home.
CONTRACT AND PERMITTING
After your Sales Agreement has been ratified we will begin to assemble the necessary construction documents. Once we have received the building permit, completed the building site prep, and you have finalized your selections, we will contact you to schedule a Pre-Construction Meeting.
EXCAVATION AND FOUNDATION
During this stage, we will walk the lot with you and set the forms however you would like your home to face in order take any advantage of a view or tree. We then do the plumbing grounds and pour the foundation according to how the engineer has designed it based on the soil conditions.
This where your home starts to take shape. During this stage the wall, floor, and roof components are assembled. The home wrap, windows, and exterior doors are installed. Certain exterior finishes such as exterior trim work, roof shingles, stucco and stone are also started during this stage.
During this stage we will install a/c duct work, furnace equipment, gas fire places, gas piping, plumbing supply and waste pipes. Prior to the electrical wiring, and all data, media, and security wiring you will do a walk through with our superintendent to go over any areas that need to be reviewed. Together, we will confirm that all of your requested mechanical, electrical, and multimedia options have been completed and located correctly. Additionally, Ronny Carroll Homes and our vendors conduct inspections to ensure everything is complete and of the highest quality prior to installing drywall.
Now that the major systems are completed, the drywall process begins and takes about 2 weeks. After this it complete it becomes a blank canvas, next you and the trim carpenter will go in each and every room and tell him how you would like all of your cabinets and trim to look. This is where the elegance of the custom home begins to take place.
INTERIOR TRIM AND PAINTING
When the trim carpenter finished the next step is the painting stage, the interior of your home will begin to reflect the colors and finishes you selected. The exterior of your home will be nearing completion . Your home will have cabinets and vanities, interior doors and moldings that will be will be painted by hand with the finest touches and detail.
FINISH MECHANICALS, FIXTURES, AND APPLIANCES
During this stage we will install the interior railings, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, shower enclosures, shelving, mirrors, interior hardware and door knobs, and kitchen appliances. On the exterior, we will complete the concrete walks, install exterior lighting, and begin the prep work for final grading and landscaping.
At this point in construction the finish line is in sight. During this stage we will install the hardwood flooring and carpeting. The interior will be complete. On the exterior we will complete the final grading of the yard and install landscaping
QUALITY CONTROL AND FINAL INSPECTIONS
During this stage we will conduct Final Quality Control Inspections. We place a great deal of importance on this inspection as it is our goal to present a beautiful, 100% complete home to you at your Pre-Settlement Orientation, we are extremely proud of the homes we build, and want you to feel the same.
30 DAY LIST
After you live in the home for 30 or so days you will make a list of the minor adjustments and touch ups needed to finish off your home.
